Once you have done this you need to set you location.

You will then see a map of Australia. Using the mouse click on the red marker and drag it to your approximate location. Use the + and - signs to zoom, plus the arrows to scroll (3). Or use the mouse to drag the map around as well as the marker. If you have a mouse wheel that can be used to zoom as well. Zoom in and continue to fine tune the location of your location, it does not have to be exact, just relatively close.
When you are happy with the location of the marker click on it, you should get a box with the button Modify. Click this button. You should have now set your location.
First make sure you have set your own location, instruction above.
Click Locator (1)
If you have set your location correctly the map will be centred over your location. Red tabs (3) signify other people. Blue tabs (4) signify meeting points. If you click on the tabs you will see who the person is, and be able to send the a private message, or further details on the location with the blue tabs.
If you wish to find people further from yourself than 5 km then enter the distance into the Search (2). For example entering 20 will show you everyone within a 20 km distance from yourself.
If you happen to be traveling to another city then you can type in the name of the suburb you are going to. For example 'Ballarat'. The locator will then bring up all people within 5 km from Ballarat. to search further afield simply put in a larger number and click refresh to the right.
